Palo liquor of Mallorca
It is obtained from the caramelisation of sugar and infusions of aromatic plants, such as Quina Calisaya and Gentiana, adding a select alchohol of molasses to then be subject finally to a process of aging in wooden barrels.
How to take
In Mallorca Palo consumed as a snack. Its typical presentation is in a glass with ice and soda, but also can be taken alone or with ice. It is recommended to always serve very cold.
